The Quran Foundation Pakistan Karachi was founded in 1995 on the auspicious day of ‘Mubahila’  24th of the Zilhijjah, with the goal to strengthen the relationship of the community with the Holy Quran. The objectives set to achieve this goal are:

ORGANIZATION:

The management consists of seven basic peers, whose job would be to consult religious scholars and to perform certain jobs.

ADVISORY COMMITTEE: Consists of Religious Scholars; The QF would consult them.

Member:  Every person of the community who performs duties being part of the QF and is not part of any other organization.

Assistant:  Every person of the community who assists in organizing matters is said to be Assistant.

MILESTONES:

Since its beginning the Quran Foundation Pakistan Karachi has been blessed with the benevolence of Allah and of people with genuine appreciation for Quranic teachings. The QF right in the initial phase introduced for the first time in the world history, the complete Quran audio CD, having the voices of the world’s’ seven top most Recites . Along with, one more and essential task is completed, first time ever, ‘the complete Urdu translation of the Quran in audio. This Urdu translation was read aloud by the deeply resonant voice of Husain Shaheed Mirza and this translation  has traveled the globe.   Uphill now more than 100 Quran Software’s in VCD’s and DVD’s have been published. PAST ACCOMPLISHMENTS

These have included the arrangement of several highly successful exhibitions of the Quran across the country to generate awareness regarding the importance of the Quran among the people of the community. Up till now the Quran Foundation has held 30 Quran exhibitions in various places in Pakistan.

Apart from above, Quran Exhibitions have been held in number of other Mosques and Imambargahs of Karachi. People from various ‘Schools of thought’ and different walks of life, even people from other Ms’alk and different organizations participated in large number of the events and a lasting impression of truth has echoed throughout the world.

QURAN MEMORIZATION

Recitation of the Quran events was taken into consideration.  By the Grace of Almighty Allah, in the year 2002 (a first time in the history of Pakistan) young Reciters “Syed Mujtaba Akhter Rizvi” from city of “Qum” Iran was invited. At more than 10 recitation events:  enlightened numerous youngsters and the elders sparked the spirit to learn Quran by heart. In 2004 one more memorizers of the Quran Mr. Husain Mehdi was invited. Later more than 40 hosted gatherings for the memorization and recitation of the Quran were held in over 10 cities of Sind, in which thousands of participants came with great enthusiasm.

In these programs, the 3 best memorizers from ‘Madarsa e Hifaz’ Iskardu, also participated. For the sake of encouraging more to recite the Quran the QF announced the reward money of 10 thousand rupees to be paid to  each 30th Para (Amma) Learner. As a result of which 3 young memorizers learnt the Para by heart and in 2005 this quantity increased upto 19 memorizer.

QURAN MEMORIZATION INSTITUTES

Now the acquaintance with the Quran got better among people and in this way the first Madarsa for memorize the Quran “Moasisa e uloom  e Quran Jamaran” and afterwards “Jama  Al Quran Al Kareem Memorizer Husain Mehdi” was established. Till July 2008, 50 young boys and girls completed memorized the Quran. Right now 3 more Institutes of the Memorization of the Quran has been established in Karachi. Similarly other institutes for those who memorized the Quran have also been established in certain other cities of Pakistan.

QURAN RECITATION 

To encourage the spirit of ‘Recitation of the Quran’ along with ‘Memorization of the Quran’, famous Reciters of Quran from Imam Ali(a.s.) Institute and of the Holy Qum came to Karachi on the QF invitation, at the occasion of “Unity Week” and enlightened the circles with the Light of Quran. Syed Murtaza Rizvi, Abrar Husain Alizada and Ali Akbar Joshiqani were among those respected reciters.

During the Holy Month of Ramadan, in the year 2005-2006 respected Mr. Murtaza Rizvi and Mr.Abrar Husain were invited as Jury for Recitation competition at Karachi’s renowned  “Karachi Club”, where they earned the great compliments from the audience and also the Pride to honor the Shiite’s.

QURAN EXEGESIS

For the year 2007, during the Holy month of Ramadan, it is now thought to bring the attention of the community towards the exegesis of the Quran (the guided interpretation and explanation).  The “Exegesis of Quran Quiz” was announced, in which a great number of noble gentlemen and ladies took part in overwhelmingly. First, Second, and Third place prize winners and ones who got more than 80% marks on their quizzes were awarded with handsome prize money.

HAJJ; AN IMPORTANT WORSHIP, NEEDS MORE AWARENESS OF THE COMMUNITY

Hajj is an important worship and essential (Pillar) of Islam.  The  Community  looked  and  still  looks  to be  careless  towards  this  important  Pillar.  In order to bring the community’s attention towards the subject in 2008, BAITULLAH Prize Competition was announced and Hajj related the Quran verses, Hadiths and Quotes Writers were awarded with the great Money Prizes. These programs continued during the year 2009. QAFLAN E HAJJ: KARWAN E AAL E YASEEN, AL HARMAIN, KARWAN E BILAL, KARWANE ROOHANI, KARWAN E AMEER HAMZA AND QAFLA E BAITULLAH co-operated and sponsored our programs.        

During the year 2009, by the participation of Quran Memorizer Mohammad Taqi and Qamar e Bani Hashim Group (Qum, Iran) more than 16 great Quran circles could be possible. In these valuable achievements QF was tremendously supported by Institutions, organizations, trusts and above all the noble ladies and gentlemen of the community.

Due to the endeavors of the QF and participation of the community we at present can experience a better Quranic atmosphere and the Quran attitude is understood with a wider consciousness .The environment is favorable for the Quran to sow more and cultivate better. The Quran Summer Camps are held in number of academies during summer vacations. Apart from this, schools with amalgamation of ordinary education with the Quran education are also established.

All of the above were performed by the Quran Foundation Pakistan Karachi over the past 13 years with its limited workforce—which was mandated at its foundation. Now from the viewpoint of today’s modern age the following short term and long term programs are being planned:      

QURAN FOUNDATION’S 2010 OBJECTIVES AND THE PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH THEM.

1- Rs. 50,000 prize Money to encourage the spirit of the Quran Learning among kids of 5-14 years of age

2- Monthly Quran Recitation Circle events for the present reciters

3- Bi- Monthly Quran memorization Competitions on a Permanent basis for more than 50 memorizers of the Quran

4- Quran Software House (To bring the Quran and Quran Exegesis on Compatible Disc Mediums)

5- Publication of Quarterly the Quran Journal.

6- Seminars on the Quran Issues and Topics.

7- Quarterly meetings should be held.

8- Establishment of the Quran Foundation Pakistan Karachi ‘Women’s Wing’

9- To hold the Quran exhibitions twice a year

10-Contest on the Quran Topics to be held thrice a year    

For the fulfillment of above objectives; THE CONTACT CENTRE has been established especially for the youth. In the beginning, 1000 members of the community were contacted.

قران فا و نڈشن کے قیام کے اوائل میں ہی قران مجید کے چاہنے والوں کی وساعت و کرم پرور دگار کے موجب دنیا کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ مکمل قران مجید کی آڈیو سی ڈی کا اجرا کیا گیا ، جو دنیا کے سات صف اول کے قاری حضرات کی آواز میں ہے – اور اس کے ساتھ ہی ایک اور نہایت ضروری و اہم ترین کام کا آغاز کیا گیا ، یعنی اردو زبان میں دنیا میں پہلی بار مکمل قران مجید معہ ترجمہ  (علامہ سید ذیشان حیدر جوادی مرحوم رضوان الله علیہ)  کی آڈیوز کی تیاری ، کہ جو الحمدلاللہ تین سال کے دورانیہ میں جناب حسین شہید مرزا کے بیش بہا تعاون کے نتیجہ میں ان ہی کے لہن خوش گوش میں اپنے تکامل کو پہونچا ،ا ور آج چہار جانب عالم ، اردو زبان سمھجنے والوں میں اس پہلے ارد ترجمہ کی آواز فضا بسیط میں گونج رہی ہے اب تک سو سے زاید تعداد میں قرانی سوفٹ وئیرز ، وی سی ڈیز اور ڈی وی ڈیز کا اجرا عمل میں ا چکا ہے ، جن میں ،

قران فا و نڈیشن نے کراچی و پاکستان میں اولین مرتبہ ایک انتہائی وسیح پیمانہ پر قران مجید سے متعلق نمایش گاہ کے اہتمام کا آغاز کیا تا کہ معاشرہ کے افراد میں قران مجید و معارف قران مجید سے آگاہی کے دروازوں کو کھولا جائے- قران فا ؤ نڈیشن کی جانب سے ابتدا سے اب تک 30 کے قریب نمائش گاہ قران کریم کا انعقاد کراچی و پاکستان کےمختلف شہروں میں کیا جا چکا ہے ، جن میں چند مندرجہ ذیل ہیں –

اس کے علاوہ کراچی کی کئی مساجد و امام بارگاہوں ، کہ جن میں تمام مسالک کے اداروں و اور افراد نے نہایت بھر پور شرکت و تعاون و کا مظا ہرہ کیا – قران مجید سے متعلق نمایش گاہ کے ہر سال انعقاد کے سلسلہ کو عوام کی طرف سے انتہائی پزیرائی ملنے اور کاموں کو اگے بڑھانے کے پر زور اصرار پر قران فاؤنڈیشن نے ایک اور قدم کی جانب پیش رفت کی ، اور قرآت قران مجید سے متعلق امور پر بھی اپنی توجہ مبذول کرتےہوے 2002 میں بفضل خدا پاکستان میں تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ کم عمر حافظ قران سید مجتبیٰ اختر رضوی کو ایران کے شہر قم مقدس سے مدعو کیا ، اور کراچی میں 10 سے زائد مقامات پر قرآت قران مجید کی محفلوں نے ملت کے ہر طفل و بزرگ کے دل کو منور کیا ، اور اس سے سب میں قران مجید کو حفظ کرنے کے ارادوں کو مہمیز ملی –

حفظ و حافظ قران

2004 میں ایک اور حافظ قران مجید حسین مہدی کو مدعو کیا گیا ، اور حفظ قران مجید کے 40 سے زائد پروگرامز کراچی و سندھ کے دس سے زائد شہروں میں منعقد کیے گئے جس میں ہزاروں کی تعداد میں مو منین نے بہت جوش و خروش کے ساتھ شرکت کی – ان ہی پروگراموں میں سکردو کے مدرسہ حفاظ کے تین بہترین حافظوں نے بھی شرکت کی . اسی دوران قران فاونڈیشن نے حفظ قران قران مجید کی تشویق کی خاطر یہ اعلان کیا کہ جو عما (تیسواں) پارہ حفظ کرے گا اس کو دس ہزار روپیہ انعام دیا جاتے گا ، جس کے نتیجے میں تین ماہ میں تین کم عمربچوں اور 2005 میں 19 کم عمر بچوں نے تیسواں پارہ حفظ کیا

مدارس حفظ قران مجید

اس کے بعد ماحول ساز گار ہوگیا ، اور اس طرح حفظ قران مجید کے لئے پہلا مدرسہ مو سسہ علوم قران جماران اور اس کے بعد جا مع القران الکریم حافظ حسین مہدی قایم ہوے – جولائی 2008 تک پچاس بچے بچیاں مکمل قران مجید حفظ کر چکے تھے ، اور کراچی میں تین مزید حفظ کے مدارس قایم ہوچکے ہیں ، اسی طرح پاکستان کے دیگر شہروں میں بھی حفظ کے مدارس قایم ہوچکے ہیں –

قرآت قران مجید

حفظ قران مجید کے ساتھ قرآت قران مجید کے شوق کو اجاگر کرنے کے لئے مدرسہ امام علی (ع) اور قم مقدس کے معروف قاریان قران ہفتہ وحدت کی مناسبت سے قران فاونڈیشن کی دعوت پر کراچی تشریف لاے اور قرآت قران مجید کی محافل کو نور قران مجید سے منور کیا – ان محترم قاریوں میں سید مرتضیٰ رضوی ، ابرار حسین علی ذادہ اور علی اکبر جوشیقانی شامل ہیں – 2005- 2006 کے ماہ مبارک میں کراچی کے معروف کلب (کراچی کلب)میں مقابلہ حسن قرآت کی محافل میں محترم مرتضیٰ رضوی اور ابرار حسین بطور جج مدعو کے گئے اور بہترین قرآت سے شرکا سے داد وصول کی اور شیوں کے سر کو بلند کیا-

تفسیر قران مجید

ماہ مبارک 2007 میں حفظ و قرآت کے بعد کے مرحلے ، تفسیر قران کی طرف ملّت کی توجہ دلانے کے لئے استاد مفسر محسن قرائتی کی ٦ سورتوں کی تفاسیر کے اردو تراجم سے تفسیر کوئز کا اعلان کیا جس میں کثیر تعداد میں خواتین و حضرات نے بھر پور حصہ لیا ، اور اول ، دویم ، سویم اور 80 فی صد سے زائد نمبر حاصل کرنے والوں کوخطیر رقم کے انعامات دے گئے –

حج  )ایک اہم عبادت کی طرف توجہ(

حج ایک انتہائی اہم عبادت و رکن اسلام ہے ، مگر اس اہم رکن سے ملّت کی لا پروائی حد درجہ بڑھتی جا رہی تھی اور ہے ،ملّت کو اس طرف متوجہ کرنے کی غرض سے2008  میں بیت الله انعامی مقابلے کا اعلان کیا اور حج سے متعلق آیات قران مجید کا ترجمہ ، احا دیث و اقوال تحریر کرنے والوں کو خطیر رقوم انعام کے طور پر دیں – یہ ہی پروگرام 2009 میں بھی جاری رہے ، اور ان کے لئے قافلان حج ، کاروان ال یٰسین ،الحرمین، کاروان بلال ، کاروان روحانی ، کاروان امیرحمزہ اور قافلہ بیت الله نے تعاون کیا –

اسی دوران 2009 میں حافظ محمد تقی اور گروہ قمر بنی ہاشم (قم ، ایران )کی شرکت سے عظیم الشان قرانی محافل کا 16 سے زائد مقامات پر انعقاد کیا گیا –

ان اہم و بڑے کاموں میں قران فاونڈیشن کو اداروں ، ٹرسٹوں ، تنظیموں ، اور افراد ملّت و خوا تین کا خاص طور پر بیش بہا تعاون حاصل رہا –

قران فاونڈیشن کی ان کاوشوں اور ملّت کی بھر پور شرکت کی بناہ پر اس وقت ایک قرانی ماحول بن چکا ہے اور امت کی قران مجید سے نزدیگی مسلسل بڑھ رہی ہے اور قران مجید کے کاموں کی انجام دیہی کے لئے فضا بھی ساز گار ہے – قرانی سمر کیمپس کافی تعداد میں موسم گرما کی تعطیل کے دوران مختلف اداروں کے زیر اہتمام منعقد ہوتے ہیں ، اس کے علاوہ دنیاوی تعلیم کے ساتھ قران مجید کے سکول بھی شروع ہو چکے ہیں-

  مندرجہ بالا امور قران فاونڈیشن نے 13 سال کے دوران مختصر افرادی قوت سے انجام دیے جس کا فیصلہ قران فاونڈیشن کی تا سیس کے زمانے کے حالات کو مد نظر رکھتے ہوے کیا گیا تھا ، اب آج کی ضرورت کے تحت مندرجہ کم مدتی اور طویل مدتی درج ذیل  پروگراموں کو شروع کرنے کی منصوبہ بندی کی جا رہی ہے –

مندرجہ بالا امور کی تکمیل کے لئے افرادی قوت خاص طور پر نوجوانوں سے رابطہ کے لئے شعبہ روابط قیم کیا گیا ہے اور ابتدا میں ملت کے ہزار افراد سے پہلے مرحلے میں موبائل ایس ایم ایس کے ذریے رابطہ کا آغاز کیا گیا – امید ہے بارگاہ خداوندی میں اراکین قران فاؤ نڈیشن اور تعاون کرنے والے ، خادمین قران مجید میں شمار ہونگے اور نور قران مجید سے فرد معاشرہ اور ملک منور ہوگا اور یہ کوششیں حضرت امام زمانہ (عج) کے جلد ظہور میں مدد گر ثابت ہونگی –
